The Lost Letter: Ampersand

Once the 27th letter of the alphabet until around 1863, the ampersand (&) now serves as a symbol of connection, linking two things together in partnership.

Our History

Ampersand was founded in the wake of the GFC in 2008. Its leaders had worked for some of the biggest recruitment agencies in the country – but clients were no longer looking for that style of service. They needed hands on senior counsel, local expertise, and people capable of executing projects quickly and efficiently. Soon after launching, Ampersand found itself working with some of the country’s biggest brands – leading banks, telecommunications providers, professional services firms, mining and energy companies, sports organisations and Government divisions.  This is still the service Ampersand offers today, and it’s never been more relevant.
