  • $130,000 – $150,000 + super + benefits

Highly regarded ASX listed investment advice organisation are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to join their dynamic team. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and managing an HR Coordinator, this is a broad HR Generalist position with a huge amount of scope.
This critical role is responsible for driving a client first culture through the implementation of best practice People and Culture initiatives across the network.

Over the next three years the company intends to define, align, build and grow its core business. Central to their ongoing growth is a business model that focuses on client centricity, high performance, profitability, and quality – the Human Resources Manager provides integral ‘People’ support to the achievement of those goals.
Key responsibilities will include: 

  • People and Culture – facilitate the collaboration of HR across the network of firms through building an HR Community of Firms
  • Lead and drive the new HR Framework– in particular the standardisation of key fundamentals and governance practices
  • Actively identify new initiatives and innovative HR processes, and promote the key People and Culture initiatives in discussions with member firms
  • Succession and Talent Management – create and maintain Succession Plan and talent matrix to ensure  pipeline of talent, mitigate key person risks and ensure accountability for developing talent
  • Attraction and Retention – coordinate recruitment activities for including internal/external advertising, applicant screening, applicant administration, interviewing, psychological testing (as required), reference checking, and placement
  • Create and maintain Employee Value Proposition (EVP) collateral to assist with attracting quality candidates
  • Learning and Development – support the network with ongoing education, learning and development advice
  • Undertake training needs analyses as required to ensure the business has the organisational capability to meet its objectives
  • Reward and Recognition – manage the annual salary review process (including benchmarking) and coordinate the distribution of salary increase advice to employees
  • Contribute to the development of reward and recognition framework which incentivises high performance, core values and client first behaviours
  • Organisation Development and Culture – manage the organisation’s employee satisfaction and engagement surveys, including providing feedback to the Board (if directed by the CEO) and leadership team and developing actions plans to facilitate the improvement of identified issues
  • Drive the performance management framework
  • Process and System Improvement – maintain oversight of a human resource information system

  You will have:

  • Formal tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
  • 7+ years’ experience in a similar HR-related role
  • Demonstrable experience and understanding of HR principles/fundamentals such as recruitment, performance management and industrial relations
  • Proven experience leading an HR team and function within an organisation, and presenting and reporting to management on HR related matters
  • Demonstrable evidence coaching and advising management on HR matters, and an understanding of IR and the application of Fair Work Act
  • Practical evidence implementing training and development programs, and extensive experience managing recruitment end-to-end
  • Capacity to think strategically and assist with the development of new initiatives
  • Sound project management skills and a capacity to deliver to deadlines, with the capability to manage change
  • Results/achievement focused with a professional, proactive approach and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Intranets and cloud-based HR systems
  • Previous experience working in a similar HR role within a corporate, professional services or financial services environment will be highly regarded
